Ocean Industries

Ocean Industries was founded by Dr. Xing Wong the current CEO of Ocean Industries. The company is based in Changhua Coastal Industrial Park near the Wang-Gong fishing port in Changhua County Taiwan.

Since 2003 Dr. Xing Wong has done research on all forms of ocean energy concluding that tidal power is the most predictable form of renewable energy available.

Ocean Industries has developed a  tidal energy generator with funding received from Tokyo Based Venture Associates. Ocean Industries are set to be a major player in the field of tidal energy in the years to come.

Ocean Industries PW-145 tidal energy generator is considered to be the most eco-friendly tidal energy generator available. If installation is carried out with marine life in mind the PW-145 could even be environmentally beneficial to the area of installation. Ocean Industries Tidal Energy Generator works with rotors driven by the power of tidal currents. The PW-145 operates below the surface of the ocean and features three 18 metre rotors that could produce electricity for up to 80% of the day. The uniqueness of the PW-145 is that its rotor blades automatically adjust to take full advantage of both the ebb and flow of tides, therefore optimizing energy production to its full capacity.
